Two quotes always play in my thoughts. Gandhi’s “be the change” quote reminds me to be active in changing the world. The other is a treasure from Margaret Meade which reminds me that the one thing that has changed this world is a “small group of thoughtful, committed citizens.” I believe that our lives represent opportunities to honor the sacrifices of brave game changers who have come before us and to leave legacies of action for the generations who come after us.
